About me - Liam Mclaney

Well as you may already know my name is Liam Mclaney and I'm a graphics designer, web developer and general media guy. Before you pigeon hole me as a Jack of all trades I would take a moment to look at my portfolio and make your own judgment. I have a strong passion for everything I do and I will never commit myself to a project half heartedly. I strive to create great work in which I am proud of and in which will impress or inspire others.

I am currently living in Oxford whilst I undertake my internship as web developer at Oxford Brookes University Business School. Oxford is a beautiful city, fantastic architecture and an amazing mix of culture and people. I would definitely consider moving to Oxford sometime in future life.

Once my year at Oxford Brookes is over I will be heading back to Plymouth university to finish my final year of my Multimedia, Production and Technology degree. Once I have graduated I hope to join a studio and develop my skills further. I recently visited Dubai and I am seriously considering moving to Dubai to work there for a while.

I love to travel, it is one of my greatest passions in life. I have managed to conquer most of Europe throughout my life but now I have set my sights on the Middle East and Asia. Last year I managed to travel to Indonesia, Bali and Singapore. I have to say it was the most amazing experience in my life, I fully enjoyed it and would like to explore more of Indonesia.

News

Site Redesign

I set out over the weekend to redesign my website. I wanted something that was simple, clean and would let the work speak for itself. I have the basis of the site complete and now I'm just gathering all of my content together. It may take a few weeks for it to be fully completed as I'm very busy with work. But, watch this space!

Internship

I have been working at Oxford Brookes Business School for the past 4 months now. I have been busy creating a new style for the website to replace the old dated style. At the moment I have just changed the homepage to the new style but I am in process of converting all of the pages on the website.
